Following an in depth and productive race management discussion, the decision has been made that the proposed Sully Bay racing area be changed to the usual Cardiff and Penarth Roads area.
We intend to anchor the committee boat in the lee of the conditions and then race in the vicinity of Mid and North Cardiff.
Logistically this means that competitors will be able to use the 0830 or 0900 locks on Saturday to be on the start line in plenty of time.
A decision on Sunday’s racing will be made following racing on Saturday, but if it goes ahead it will also be in the same location as Saturday.
The newly opened Cardiff Bay Yacht Club has reinforced the bar stock in preparation for us on Saturday afternoon, evening and night so look forward to seeing everyone there. The presentation for the passage race will also take place at some point with prizes including drinks vouchers to be distributed.
Once again there will be live music in the main bar area.
